Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Review
I took my first visit to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in 2000. I didn't think too much about the time back then. Now I still enjoy my visit there each year. They may have a small waterslide collection, but hey, on a hot day, it'll really cool you off. Plus it will provide you with some neat shots of Six Flags Magic Mountain next door. If it's a hot summer and you're spending two days at Six Flags Magic Mountain, I would suggest spending an hour or two of the second day at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor if Six Flags Magic Mountain isn't that crowded.

All the Other Waterslides
Here are the reviews of all the other water slides at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Well, the best waterslide not featured in the Major Waterslide review is Gator Gorge. Gator Gorge is the blue straight slide in Lizard Lagoon. You actually get airtime as you drop. That's how steep and awsome it is. And if you're a freak like Cody, you'll magically skid across water. The two slides next to Gator Gorge on the other hand are awful. Geko Gully is simply an awful slide. It's boring, painful, and there's a terrific waterslide right next to it!!! Do you need any more reasons to not ride it! It's been awhile since I've ridden to Iguana River or Crock Creek, so I'm not even going to review those. But I will tell you that those are the white slides in Lizard Lagoon. Another fun slide at Hurricane Harbor is Tiki Falls. It's fun because you can't see what's going on. But I just have to say, DON'T GO ON THE GREEN VERSION!!! Another slide would be Lost Temple Rapids. This is a family raft ride. The amount of fun you have on this slide soley depends on who you ride it with. When I rode it with Isaac and Elissa, we were going so slow it wasn't even funny. However, when Cody and I asked some fat chicks to ride with us, we went flying! Cody even fell off the raft it was so freaking insane!!! And finally, we have Lightning Falls. Lightning Falls is a fun waterslide. It's kind of like Lost Temple Rapids as it sways from side to side until you land in the pool.
I love Gator Gorge. (The straight slide in the middle. The twisty ones suck.)
Dining
Here are the reviews of all the Resteraunts at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Well, Hurricane Harbor only has one resteraunt. And it serves typical amusement park crap. I've got some chicken fingers and a hamburger there. They were ok. But avoid the Cherry Coke. It sucks here. Just don't expect anything with quality.
Theming and Other Attractions
Here are the reviews of all the other stuff at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Well, as far as theming, there are a few tiki heads, but that's about it. And as far as other attractions, they have a wave pool and a lazy river. The lazy river is a great way to travel around Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. Their wavepool is just typical however. I'd recommend skipping them and going to SFMM. But if you'll be there all day, then you might as well enjoy those as well. They also have a bucket area known as Mr. Six's Splash Island. These types of areas are always a blast to hang out in. And Mr. Six's Splash Island is no exception.
Giant Buckets are always a blast.
In Conclusion
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is a nice waterpark. It's got some intense slides like Venom Drop, some fun slides like Tornado, and a great bucket area like Mr. Six's Splash Island. However, if you're not a local, then I wouldn't waste valuable SFMM time to visit SFHH. I mean, it's not like it has Bombay Blasters or anything like that.
Tips
*Get to the park early for walk ons. If you wait later in the day, most slides will have 5-10 minute waits. (Waits can grow up to 45 minutes depending on when you go and how many tubes they have.)
*Wear flip flops and sunscreen. It'll most likely be hot when you visit.
*You can travel by lazy river.
*Have Fun!!!
